You have decided to invest in a car wrap and now that your car is working for you, it’s important to make sure that it lasts for as long as possible. If your car wrap receives the proper car and maintenance, then it will continue to advertise on your behalf and spread your message at no additional cost whatsoever.

Even though caring for a wrapped car is a little different than washing a regular painted car, it’s not too complicated.

What to use:

  • Use a clean, soft sponge or microfiber towel to get the dirt off the vinyl. Remember that car wash brushes can be damaging to a wrap since they can contain rocks and debris that’s been trapped inside the brush.
  • Use a high-quality soap, or go for a 3M Car Wash Soap 39000, the Meguiar’s NXT Generation Car Wash or Deep Crystal Car Wash. Either way, don’t go too cheap and read the label.
  • Wash the vehicle and rinse it so that all soap is off. Try to get as much water off the vinyl as possible and then dry with a clean cloth.

Avoid car washes that use brushes and high-pressure water spouts. Definitely stay away from bleach, solvents, kitchen or bathroom cleaning chemicals, degreasers or anything that has the tendency to affect vinyl.

  • Very Happy with the end product!!! Thank you v very much!!
